A downloadable ai experiment

From the Cloud Theory website

Cloud Theory is a relaxing videogame where you lay on the ground and look at clouds. Every once in a while you or your AI friend might see a shape in the clouds, sparking conversations about poodles, life and more. Coming sometime in 2021.

Cloud Theory is part I of the Watching Simulators series, a triptych of games about looking.

It is also a project output of a research project called Machine Unlearning. For Machine Unlearning, in addition to a GPT-3 dialogue engine focused on asking existential questions about life, Cloud Theory is being used as a training environment for AI to be able to recognize shapes in real-world clouds, and say something about them. The Machine Unlearning project is supported by a New School research grant and an OpenAI access grant.

This game is being co-designed with Jason Li (programming, conversation engine) and Anna Garbier (dialogue design and AI trainer)
